New tundish dryer upgrade package for Nucor Yamato

Nucor Steel Yamato, located in Arkansas has placed on order with INTECO PTI for a new Tundish Dryer Upgrade Package.  The New Tundish Dryer will include combustion air and natural gas controls lines and include three new 5 MMBtu/Hr. burners.  In addition, Infrared Temperature sensors will be mounted into the tundish refractory lid to directly measure the refractory temperature in the bottom of the Tundish.  This additional process data will allow better control of the tundish refractory pre-heat. 

All preheater components will be engineered, and fully custom built in our own workshop here in Atlanta, GA.
