Responsibilities
- Field service
- Perform electrical and mechanical service to industrial equipment, instrumentation and control system
- Provide customer technical support and troublehshooting of control systems in an industrial environment
- Field commissioning
- Coordinates equipent installaton
- Ability to install, debug and commission software
- Set-up and commission instrumentation
- Performs IO testing
- Assist with site supervision assistance with turnkey projects
- Provides training to customers
- Electrical design
- Create electrical drawings, BOMs under supervision and approval of Process Controls Engineer
- Customer support
- Provides support and problem for equipment, instrumentation and software systems
- Systems documentation
- Creates operation manuals and documentation package for equipment
- As built and as installed drawing updates
- Maintenance manuals and cut sheet assembly
- Must provide quality and accurate documentation and communication
- Equipment testing and documentations
Qualifications:
- Experience in automation / controls / computers or similar field
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong knowledge of electrical control and automation systems
- Ability to install and commission PLC/HMI software for industrial applications.
- Electrical design of control panels and instrumentation systems
- Commissioning control and instrumentation systems
- Working knowledge of control valves and instrumentation
- Working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Domestic and international travel required. Must have valid Driver’s license and Passport
- Strong PC and networking abilities
- Professional written and verbal communications skills
- Provides support to customers to resolve technical issues
